Brandon and Jamie are the passionate founders of Sunrise Community Living. They are the proud parents of a 6 year old girl and a baby boy born in February 2023. This active couple, both members of the Army National Guard for more than 25 years combined, have in common their love of working with people, serving the community, and enthusiasm for caring for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). At Sunrise Community Living, we like to refer to our residents and clients as Rising members or Risers. 

Brandon and Jamie founded Sunrise Community Living in 2017 after noticing a lack of quality IDD group home options and services in the Anchorage community. Today, Sunrise Community Living has remodeled three group homes in the Anchorage area. They also offer community-based services to clients and plan to open additional homes in the coming years.
